Her clinical interests lie in advanced assessment techniques, including gait analysis, biomechanical evaluation, and the prescription of custom orthotics. She is trained in the administration of corticosteroid injections and has a strong interest in developing digital health services to enhance patient access and outcomes. Brunilda is also a published researcher, with peer-reviewed articles in Foot and Ankle Research, the American Journal of Orthopaedic Research and Reviews, and the Journal of Foot and Ankle Research, exploring subjects such as virtual consultations, gout-related pathology, and joint mobility assessment methods. Fluent in English, Greek, and Albanian, and with basic proficiency in German, she brings a culturally informed and empathetic approach to patient communication and care.
Brunildaβs dedication extends beyond the clinic. She has a long-standing commitment to volunteer work. She believes deeply in the value of service and has been privileged to support both local and international communities through volunteering work including service with the London Marathon Medical Team (2011, 2013, 2016, 2018), the Lalgadh Leprosy Hospital in Nepal (2012) through Doctors of the World, and as a student ambassador for the University of Brighton. Most recently, she volunteers with the FLOCK Womenβs Circle of the United Nations, supporting women and families within the global community. These experiences have helped shape her values of compassion, resilience, and meaningful service.
Brunilda is proud of her heritage and multicultural background, which continue to shape her values and outlook. A family-oriented individual, she finds joy in cooking traditional recipes passed down from her grandmothers, mother, and aunties, staying active through sports, and reading. A mother of three, she remains committed to advancing podiatric care through collaboration, innovation, and a compassionate, inclusive approach to health.
